Ok let me see if I can form a thought.

I was floored by the quote in my previous blog entry. So being adopted automatically makes me a little stupid? If I hadn't been adopted I would be smarter? I must be understanding her question wrong. Hey, maybe I am more stupid than the average person if I can't even understand her question.

Of course you know what they say when you ASS U ME things.

A PAP can not possibly be admitting that an adopted child is automatically stupid. Can they?

Through a couple of more emails some even more "interesting" opinions come to light. At some point someone says (and I say someone because I can not remember if it was the original poster and I am too lazy to go back and look) that people from poverty are more likely to relinquish their children. People from poverty are more likely to have lower IQ's. People from poverty are more likely to have addiction problems. And since most adoptees come from poverty they must have low IQs.

Glad to see that at least one person has completely bought into the media propaganda it has been selling for so long and poor = drugs = stupid. If you are smart you will be rich. If you are rich you will be smart (because I don't know any rich, stupid people). If you are rich you will not experience addiction (because I don't know any rich drug addicts). If experience addiction you will not be rich. And I am so glad that I, personally, can not think of one single person who breaks these rules. (Please hear the dripping sarcasm)

But just for the record, since I am adult adoptee and therefore can not be as intelligent as the original author(s) of the quotes, please let me list a few of the lower IQ adoptees that people may be able to recognize:
