A few weeks ago I began the process of packing for the move. I eventually got to work on Ladybug's room. Since my mom had moved out I had not spent a lot of time in her room or bathroom (she has the master suite). Prior to that we had shared a room while my mom (and the 2 cats and dog) had the second bedroom. Once she moved out I moved into her room. So I didn't spend much time in my former room.
But I walked into her room a few weeks ago and noticed a smell wafting out of her bathroom. It was nasty. How could I have missed it. So I held my breath and cleaned it. The unfortunate thing about not sharing a room and bathroom with her anymore is that I let myself become unaware of how nasty her bathroom had gotten. The fortunate thing about it all is ... I didn't have to use the bathroom in that condition.
So I cleaned it. And talked to her about. I don't expect her to clean it. But let me know. She can keep her room clean -- put away clothes and toys. I can do the real cleaning. But this weekend I walked back into her room to do some more packing and noticed a rank, nasty smell coming from the bathroom again. Gross, disgusting. So I grabbed the cleaning supplied and held my breath again. But it was worse then before. So I lifted the toilet lid. And tried not to vomit.
Apparently she had decided that flushing was over rated. I am not sure how long it had been since she flushed but it was at least a couple of days. Why? How? I don't understand.
Seriously. Why? Modern plumbing is wonderful. Use it!
